Playground Restoration
Maltby Community Park has an outstanding open space for playground equipment. Our playground is aging, however, and frequently prone to flooding. Today, we are looking for grant funds and volunteers for the purpose of purchasing and installing new equipment.
Development and Landscaping of Walking Trails
With 16 acres of rural, open space, Maltby Community Park provides a wonderful place to take a stroll. A walking trail circumnavigates a large portion of the park, and our community would greatly benefit from improvement and extension of these trails. If you, or someone you know might be interested in working on either the planning or execution of this project, please contact the ECPRD!
Wetland Restoration
Maltby Community Park is lucky to be the home of a unique wetland, upon which a number of wildlife species depend. The wetland would greatly benefit from the work of a design team, and executive restoration group. Are you a naturalist, biologist, or science student? Our community would love to have a wildlife survey performed in order to develop an environmentally friendly plan.
